During October, the whole school is celebrating Black History Month. Each class is learning about a black artist and working creatively in class. In Hubble class we are learning about Alma Thomas. She had a distinguished career teaching art to children and her work can be found in many major museums. Alma Thomas brings art for kids by inspiring them to look closely at nature and to use patterns and colours to create art that makes them happy. Here are some examples of her work.
