A busy half term as usual in Hubble class. We have been learning all about dinosaurs, they’re names, where they lived and what they ate. We even made our own ‘Hubbleosaurus’ using recycled materials. He visited Collective Worship and was admired by everyone.
We joined Kingston University in celebrating a part of Kingston’s history, by helping to decorate a lantern for their Lantern Walk. Some of the children joined the walk too. We were lucky to have some grown up helpers to help us make cupcakes for red nose day. The cakes looked wonderful and tasted yummy.
We have learnt a lot about Space and about our namesake, the Hubble telescope. We made our own rockets using recycled materials.
We had a visit from the Oral Health team who reminded us all how to care for our teeth and keep them healthy and strong.
The Easter story has been a big part of our learning this half term and we know the story and how Christians celebrate Easter.
On a lovely Spring day, Hubble class were able to scatter some wildflower seeds in the school gardens, ready for the Summer. We all finished the morning with a visit to OWL. Time for a holiday !
