We held a great session up in our woods with Y3. We spent some time discussing invisible differences and how the way our minds work and make us behave and respond to different situations. We devised a fun emoji game, which encourages everyone to think about unexpected and expected behaviour not only in ourselves, but also in others. This helped us understand why people may react to things differently to ourselves and identify strategies to help us and them.
We wrote down some of our worries or situations we wanted to share and threw them in the fire to help us understand that sharing a problem with someone makes it a little lighter and easier to deal with.
