Years 1 to 6 all enjoyed taking part in the Relax Kids programme.
During their session the children took part in mindful games, story telling with exercises, yoga based stretches, dynamic warm ups and calming breathing exercises. Their session also included soothing self massage techniques, aspects of mindfulness and relaxation. Our children had fun but also learnt vital skills that will help them for years to come such as how to develop their self confidence, how to manage their moods or emotions and how to manage stress and anxiety.
Heidi: I loved the yoga session because it made me feel relaxed. My favourite bit was when we played the bean game.
Olivia: I thought Relax-kids was really relaxing and really nice. It was also really nice. It was also really nice because we could all do it together.
