Year 2 engaged in an enquiry-based learning experience facilitated by the Insight team from Cornerstone Church Kingston. The central question explored was: "Why are women important in the Bible?" Through structured discussions, the children explored the roles of the women depicted in the Bible. They also thought about the interactions between Jesus and the women he encountered. The children then explored the story of the bleeding woman, discussing the healing miracle performed by Jesus and considering its importance for understanding Jesus's regard for women. These explorations aimed to foster critical thinking and promote a deeper understanding of the importance of women within the Bible.
