Year 2 loved leading the Collective Worship this week, focusing on friendship and helping others in times of need. We reminded the audience that our friends often support us when we’re struggling. We used the Bible story from the book of Luke to illustrate this theme. The story is about a paralyzed man whose friends were determined to bring him to Jesus, even though the house was crowded. Unable to enter through the door, the friends decided to lower their friends through the roof to reach Jesus. Jesus, impressed by their faith, healed the man, showing the power of true friendship and determination.
